Kimberley
is
increasingly
becoming
known
as
the
last
undiscovered
ski
area
in
the
Kootenays.
When
skiing
mid
week,
it
is
not
uncommon
to
have
runs,
top
to
bottom,
completely
to
yourself.
After
a
big
dump
of
Purcell
Mountain
powder,
skier/riders
can
enjoy
fresh
tracks
for
days.
The
view
of
the
western
slope
of
the
Canadian
Rockies
is
truly
spectacular
(see

right)
The
front
side
of
the
hill
offers
long,
well
groomed
runs
-
great
for
warming
up.
The
back
side
of
the
mountain
