When skiing mid week, it is not uncommon to have runs, top to bottom, completely to yourself. After a big dump of Purcell Mountain powder, skier/riders can enjoy fresh tracks for days. The view of the western slope of the Canadian Rockies is truly spectacular (see below, right) The front side of the hill offers long, well groomed runs - great for warming up. The back side of the mountain (Easter and Tamarack Chairs) offer more steep, treed and bump runs (pictured below, left).
